BHI is working to build infrastructure for COVID-19 testing.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads around the world, rapid and low-cost testing is urgently needed in many locations that do not have access to the equipment needed for detection.

In collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), BHI is validating various low-cost, rapid methods to test for COVID-19. Once the global pandemic is under control, the infrastructure created for this testing can be used to scale-up HPV testing. We look forward to building partnerships in Africa.
