BHI’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rachel Masch, gave a talk “Novel Ways to Screen and Treat Cervical Precancer: Experiences from Around the World”! Hosted by Let Every Woman Know – Alaska
Let Every Woman Know asked: How is creativity a healing force in your life?
Dr. Masch writes, “I have several creative outlets: writing, photography and cooking are some of my favorites. With each of these I try and gain a different perspective: putting words together to form new ways of thinking about things; capturing a beautiful sunset from my NYC apartment window; or adding “a little of this, a little of that” to see what it does to a recipe (sometimes the results are fantastic, sometimes – well, not so much). Stretching my brain in different ways affords me the opportunity to appreciate the world in all sorts of new and beautiful ways.”
Dr. Masch is an Associate Clinical Professor of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the Medical Co-Director of MSBI Division of Family Planning at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and the Chief Medical Officer of Basic Health International in New York, NY.
Talks from the Gynecologic Education Course will be made available on www.leteverywomanknow.org in the near future.
