Last year, BHI programs in El Salvador celebrated the World Health Organization’s launch of its plan to rid cervical cancer from the world. This is a complex task, but the more light we shine on examples of success, such as the nationwide cervical cancer program in El Salvador, the more countries will seek to follow BHI’s blueprint.
On November 17, 2021, we will mark the anniversary of this historic movement, celebrating the first time the world has committed to eliminating cancer.
Please enjoy the celebratory photos from last year’s inaugural event. Let’s continue working together in making cervical cancer elimination a reality.
