Born in Pittsburgh, Annie is a senior at the College of William and Mary where she studies Biology and Government with a minor in Russian. She has over 5 years of experience working with women’s health groups. This experience combined with her passion for reducing health disparities led her to Basic Health International. Annie plans on pursuing a career in global health after her graduation.
Rosalyn Chan, MD MPH
Rosalyn graduated with her MD from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, in Manila, the Philippines in 2011. During her time in the Philippines she participated in relief efforts, medical missions, and community programs. She recently graduated from the Yale School of Public Health with an MPH in Global Health where her research has focused on humanitarian medicine, the effects of culture on health disparities, and the intersection of global health and justice. Her responsibilities as an intern include research, grant-writing, and administrative support.
